How it is Done

At The Possum Evicter our aim is to make your home possum proof so when we remove the possum it can’t get back in to do this we inspect around the outside of your home and on the roof for any holes that a possum may be able to get in from at the same time we find the hole that the possum’s are using as the entry and exit point then we fill in all hole’s and fit a one way door in the roof next to the entry point. At night time the possum comes to go out but then finds its hole is filled in then it goes out though the one way door and then the possum can’t get back in.

Use of cages

At The possum Evicter we don’t use cages to remove possums as the possum’s damage their nose when trapped in the cage and the law is very clear ‘a possum is not to be relocated more than 50 Meters’ so it is no point in using cages.

As we are based in Ferntree Gully we have easy access to the south-eastern suburbs of Melbourne.
